Jesus came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple cloak. And he said to them, “Behold, the man!” John 19:5
I write what pops in my head as letters from God or the Blessed Mother. I offer all obedience to Holy Mother Church in all my writings and do not claim them to be anything other than the result of my prayer. If the church came out and said what I have written is wrong, then the church is correct and I am wrong. Know that as you discern what I have written.
I wrote this while praying about the effects of the Corona Virus. Corona means crown and it has been described as having red spikes like a crown. I have felt like we were in the beginning stages of the Passion of the Church for quite awhile now and I asked God to speak to me about this crown of thorns. The following is what I wrote in my journal – for your discernment.
March 11, 2020
Beloved Lily of the Father,
The Passion of the Church is underway. On August 11, 2018 I told you that you were at the second station. Today I talk to you about your crown of thorns. Do not worry about what can happen to your body, it is your soul that matters. Be not afraid. The pace is about to pick up and come in waves – like dominos falling.
Be like little children.
I have been speaking to you about Saint John the Apostle who is walking with you; the difference between John and the others. The others were waiting for the Kingdom of God. John knew it was already here. The Kingdom of God is at hand. He surrendered everything, including his expectations of me, before I died on the cross. So few can claim this. So few understand. Enoch, Elijah, Mary, Joseph, John. Living in the Divine Will. You were chosen for these times. Surrender all of who you are, even what you expect. Now.
Accept that which you cannot control. Let no one compel you to sin. You will see my unfathomable mercy and my justice operating together. For many their world will be ripped out from under them because of their false expectations of who I AM. My ways are not your ways and my thoughts are not your thoughts. Still, even in this, they will be purified by my justice – but they will be saved by my mercy, like Peter and Thomas. Be like little children open to the grace that is pouring out. You will be amazed.
When you are afraid bring yourself to me. Where you are weak ask me to fill you up. Pray without ceasing. I can move mountains. There is nothing you are going through that if surrendered to me I can not lift up and make beautiful. I AM the God of your ancestors. I walked with them in the garden. I restore the blessings of the Father and bring about restoration. You are not alone. You are protected. You are safe. Do not fear the explosion; it will be one of grace.

I have been contemplating the same things you have written about ! I was just yesterday thinking that corona means crown.
Jesus of course, asks us to remain calm,in his steadfast love for us.

Why does the church seem to be retreating ,rather than advancing in the face of this new epidemic? Why take away the most powerful armaments that God has given her; the communal power of the Eucharist , for example? This is most definitely not a sign of a healthy Church. Jesus tells us do not fear that which can kill the body, but rather that which can destroy the soul.
The Faith is weak. People think they can save themselves instead of relying on the savior. It’s prudent to take precautions but it’s pagan to remove God from it. Removing Mass is trying to save ourselves when we have a God of victory who can save us. If this truly is the Passion of the Church then it will look like the Passion and very few will be left standing at the Cross when all is said and done.
So many run. So many hide. They love God but they don’t trust Him.
His mercy will encompass them, but not before they’re purified.
There will be some who walk the Passion with him. Some who are forced to like Simon of Cyrene, and there will be those left standing. I really hope and pray I will be one of those left standing. It’s about resting in the bosom of the Lord, like John did.

Had just been considering not going to my daily Mass because of all the virus news. It is not crowded at all. I will reconsider my fear/doubt decision.
Talk to God about it. Include Him in every decision you make.
Reading your blog always lift my spirits. My archdiocese announced last night that no weekend masses would be offered anywhere in the archdiocese (altho daily mass will continue). My heart broke with disappointment. Suddenly today the thought came to me that I am not bound by diocesan borders (I don’t know why I thought I was!) and I called another church only 4 miles away (but in another diocese) and they will be open for masses all weekend! Praise God who pointed me in another way. Much love and thank you for your caring.
Be at peace. God is in control. Wonderful that you found a weekend Mass! We have no control over the decisions of the hierarchy except to pray. If there comes a time where you cannot get to Mass make a Spiritual communion in your heart and be the living sanctuary we are called to be.
I feel that those of us who cannot receive Holy Communion, even though we want to attend Mass, should offer up this loss as a suffering for the conversion of those who left the Church or don’t believe in the Real Presence. And all of this occurring during Lent is a sign of the times to a World that condones abortion and a church that has been damaged by many of it’s shepherd’s. I’m not surprised that we’ve been shaken like this.
Offering up suffering is the best way to combat the devil
Leviticus 16:20-23: “And when he has made an end of atoning for the holy place and the tent of meeting and the altar, he shall present the live goat; and Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the people of Israel, and all their transgressions, all their sins; and he shall put them upon the head of the goat, and send him away into the wilderness by the hand of a man who is in readiness. The goat shall bear all their iniquities upon him to a solitary land”; this action, of course, is symbolic.
When placing the crown of thorns on Jesus’ head, the soldiers, without realizing it, are laying the sins of the world on the head of the precious Lamb. This is not just a symbol, of course.

As daily communicants we are all suffering as ALL Masses get cancelled. Scripture has Jesus saying that we must be in obedience to those he has placed in authority over us. Does this not apply to the situation of no Masses. If Masses were to continue you can be sure there would be
persecution of priests and the church big time. Your comments.
We, like Christ, are to be obedient to the earthly authority. This is not in our control. Our obedience brings humility even if we disagree. Christ was the ultimate humility- forgiving even those who hung Him on the cross. Obedience and humility are the path of mercy. Accept that which we cannot control and place our unequivocal trust in God that His plan is better. Be yourself a living sanctuary of love when you cannot get inside the place of sanctuary.
A person in our area had virus and went to mass. All that attended had to be tested.
Maybe not going to the mass was the sacrifice asked for these times. It is sacrifice for many.
No-where in scripture does it say to be stupid. Thinking of others is an act of love for all.
Double trust is trusting no matter where you are. Think of protecting many as new lentil sacrifice and what a sacrifice it is, not to receive the Eucharist. Accept and learn about spiritual communion with the Lord. I once in prayer was told by the Lord that I was receiving Eucharist of another kind.
When I was resting in the Holy Spirit and couldn’t get up to go to communion I got these words that I was receiving Eucharist of another kind. Completely a sacrifice, at the same time I was deeply touched by God’s love. Maybe these words were for these times. Praise God!
I think we should be obedient to the church authority regarding this. I also think God is bigger than all of it and we have no idea of Gods plan. I think more than anything we need to trust God.

Thank you all for sharing. I’m soaking it in and appreciate the message of hope!!!! This (lock down) time at home with family is showing me gaps in our interactions and what’s been lacking in our family life. Now with hardly the pressure of time (it seems to be standing still) I can begin to act in the Spirit, or let the Holy Spirit act through me. And in very tiny ways it is apparent that what was dormant under the rat race of daily life and concerns, God is bringing to life like the beginning of Spring. Please pray all families and family members come to notice and appreciate God’s power and loving plan through all He allows to happen to them and to the world! Thank you!
