Archangels & Guardian Angels
Prayer of Protection
Heavenly Archangels and Guardian Angels, you were sent to help us do God’s Will. I ask you to guide me and place a wall of protection around me, around my loved ones and around my home. May this wall protect and guard us from all outside influences and evils so that we may ever gaze upon the Lord who is our strength and our comfort. I implore you to keep away any and all demons that are affecting me and my loved ones at this time and I invite the Holy Spirit into our hearts and into our home to bring conviction and reconciliation.
St Michael the Archangel, lift the veil of spiritual confusion that keeps my heart in turmoil and fear, so that I may receive the gifts of piety and fortitude from the Lord. Help me to see that only God alone is in control and that He loves me with an everlasting love. St Michael, stand guard at my side and alert me when the enemy comes to attack so that I may be ready and able to put him under my feet.
St Gabriel the Archangel, lift the veil of spiritual deafness that keeps me from hearing God’s word, so that I may receive the gifts of Counsel and understanding from the Lord. Help me to always choose to draw from the light of the Gospel in my words and in my deeds, so that I may be a shining example of Jesus in our world today. St Gabriel, never cease in bringing me the message of the Good News of Jesus Christ, so that I may keep the Light of Christ burning in my heart, in order that He may be alive in the world through me and my participation in the Mystical Body of Christ.
St Raphael the Archangel, lift the veil of spiritual blindness that keeps the presence of God hidden from me in my daily life, so that I may receive the gifts of wisdom and knowledge from the Lord. St Raphael, I long to be fully healed, to be fully restored to newness of life in body, mind and soul. I turn to the Divine Physician in full trust and surrender so that I may be healed from spiritual blindness. I truly long to live in the freedom of the Kingdom of God, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Guardian Angels, you were assigned to me and you are ever near me at all times. I thank you for your service to me and I beg you to lift the veil of spiritual apathy in me so that I may live in the will of God, knowing more fully the gift of Fear of the Lord, in which I remain in constant awe of the Heavenly Father, my Creator and my Savior. O Most Holy Guardian Angel, may your active presence in my life help me to always flee from sin and to continually choose what is pleasing to the Lord.
