Requiescat in Pace Daddy

Michael Kevin Green September 7, 1938 – July 16, 2021

And Jesus said to the man, “Stand up and go. Your faith has healed you.” Luke 17:19

Dad passed away peacefully in his sleep on the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. He had received last rites on July 7, 2021. My prayer is the Lord received him and said, “well done good and faithful servant.”

Please pray for the repose of his soul and for my family as we grieve the loss of our Patriarch.

  16. Jackie Bodine Berg says:

May God richly reward you for taking such good care of your dad in his final days. My uncle died a couple of years ago. He and his wife lived in assisted living and many times they called upon their daughter- my cousin- to come and take them to this or that appointment or handle a medical emergency in the middle of the night. She is single and had a high stress job- but she always did it. It was hard though and she often felt overwhelmed and frustrated. Right after he passed away- in his 90’s- she was in her backyard and she felt his presence and heard his voice- he used a phrase he had used many times before- “Thanks a million, Therese- for everything” and he was gone. We both cried and cried when we recounted that moment. So painful and yet so beautiful.
