Transhumanism, Mind Control and the Goodness of God

For He Himself is our peace, who made both groups into one and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall , by abolishing in His flesh the enmity, which is the Law of the commandments contained in ordinances, so that in Himself He might make the two into one new man, thus establishing peace, and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by having put to death the enmity. Ephesians 2:14-16

I really don’t want to write this post, but feel compelled to after being sent so many things by a variety of different people regarding what is going on in the world today.

We all know something is off, we can all see the trajectory of control, we can all see the evil, those of us who know the faith, that is. But I am seeing an alarming trend that hits at the core of the goodness of God.

I have been sent things about Nephilim being people who are half demon, half human. St Augustine and Saint Clement addressed this, but for me and my part I know this cannot be true because life is created through an action of the Holy Spirit. Demons cannot create life, they can only mimmic or trick. The Holy Spirit does not create life for the purpose of evil. To believe as such is to believe that God is not really good.

I have also received things about scientists trying to create transhumans and about mind control.

Daniel O’Connor has an excellent piece on mind control and why it cannot be.

Don’t get me wrong, there probably are people trying to create transhumans. There probably are people who want to control your mind. And while the material nature of your physical body can be damaged, the intellect, memory, and will that belong to you, cannot be forcibly removed from you.

The deepest core of who you are, your soul, by nature was made for the goodness of God. Your baptism adopted you into His Kingdom. If we are to believe that we can forcibly have our mind, our heart, our soul, handed over to hell without our consent, we are teetering on blasphemy. For not even God messes with our free will. And it is an offense against hope.

For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and produce great signs and omens, to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. Matthew 24:24

The elect could be deceived by seeing the false prophet as false, but attributing too much power to him and losing hope in God.

All of these things are distractions that keep us from knowing the power, truth, and goodness of God.

Christian, know your dignity. Know the dignity of others.

We cannot trust what we see with our senses. It can “seem” as if these things are true. But it is smoke and mirrors like the Wizard of Oz. It is a spell, no where near the power and glory of God.

Christ did not die so we could attribute powers of man, or powers of Satan, to being stronger than He is.

This is where it is so important to know God and trust that he is good all the time.

God the Father is power. Sins against Him are sins of weakness. This is important to know because God the Father knows our weakness and He sent His only Son so that His power may be made perfect in our weakness. We cannot believe that all people who are weak in a decision because of forcible coercion are lost.

God the Son is truth. Sins against Him are sins against truth and the nature of who we were created to be. If we believe our mind (intellect, memory and will) can be forcibly taken from us, that is a sin against truth. We cannot believe that truth gets taken without our consent.

God the Holy Spirit is goodness. To believe in transhumanism, or hybrid humans, is an offense against goodness. It presupposes that what God created in life, cannot be redeemed. That is a sin against the Holy Spirit. It is the rejection of goodness and mercy, and it is the unforgivable sin if we go to death with that belief.

Now is the time to hold fast to the truth. It is so important to know God. Knowing Him means we can be transformed into His Love and into His light; the light that conquers the world.

All of these false beliefs can lead you to be ruled by fear, or worse, lead you to dehumanize another person making it easy to hate and kill.

People often ask me, “don’t you want to know what’s going on in the world? Don’t you want to know the evil?”

My answer is, I want to be awake. I want to know the good, which in knowing the good, elevates you above the evil, even as you see the evil. I want the Tree of Life, not the knowledge of evil. If I drink from the Tree of Life then the power, truth and goodness of God fill me, and I have no need to worry about the evil because the serpents head is crushed.

It seems to me we border on some kind of strange Mysticism when we want to “know”.

This kind of Mysticism seeks to know things that are meant for God so that we can then in our worldly ways somehow try to control it. It’s the opposite of surrendering to God what belongs to Him. We cannot control all of these things, but we can control our faith in God to overcome them if we surrender to His Will.

Pray to believe in the Power of God. Pray to know the truth, not the future. Pray to keep hope that God is complete goodness all the time, even if our senses can’t see it. Pray for your human will to rest in the Divine Will.

Believe God loves you enough not to leave you orphan. Be not afraid.

Psalm 42

As a deer longs for flowing streams,
so my soul longs for you, O God.
My soul thirsts for God,
    for the living God.
When shall I come and behold
    the face of God?
My tears have been my food
    day and night,
while people say to me continually,
    “Where is your God?”

These things I remember,
as I pour out my soul:
how I went with the throng,[a]
and led them in procession to the house of God,
with glad shouts and songs of thanksgiving,
    a multitude keeping festival.
Why are you cast down, O my soul,
and why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God; for I shall again praise him,
    my help and my God.

My soul is cast down within me;
    therefore I remember you
from the land of Jordan and of Hermon,
    from Mount Mizar.
Deep calls to deep
    at the thunder of your cataracts;
all your waves and your billows
    have gone over me.
By day the Lord commands his steadfast love,
and at night his song is with me,
a prayer to the God of my life.

I say to God, my rock,
    “Why have you forgotten me?
Why must I walk about mournfully
    because the enemy oppresses me?”
10 As with a deadly wound in my body,
    my adversaries taunt me,
while they say to me continually,
    “Where is your God?”

11 Why are you cast down, O my soul,
and why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God; for I shall again praise him,
    my help and my God.

This was exactly what I needed to read. You were correct in all that you wrote. I could feel myself being drawn down to a feeling of being conquered by all the evil we see. But your post brought me up in my spirit to really concentrate on these very beautiful words of wisdom. Thank you so much and God bless your ministry.

  4. Very timely post, thank you. I, too, have had plenty of friends who have brought up similar concerns, to which I reply that focusing on evil instead of the goodness of God is not where your heart and soul (and mind/will/intellect) should be. In the words of Joseph to his brothers, when they asked him incredulously how he could forgive them, after all they did to persecute him and leave him to die, he answered, “God meant it for good.” There is no situation – no matter how evil it may “seem” to our senses, that God cannot bring into His light and goodness. HIs ways are not ours, and His plans for our future rest securely with Him. Trusting in God is the only path forward during these difficult times for the Church, but we already know the head of the serpent has been crushed, and we need not be afraid.

Wow! Thank you for writing such profound beliefs. Your quote below struck a cord with me. I will keep these words where I can see them daily.

“We cannot control all of these things, but we can control our faith in God to overcome them if we surrender to His Will.”

    God Bless You!
