The Lord begot me, the beginning of his works,
the forerunner of his deeds of long ago; From of old I was formed,
at the first, before the earth. When there were no deeps I was brought forth,
when there were no fountains or springs of water; Before the mountains were settled into place, before the hills, I was brought forth; When the earth and the fields were not yet made,
nor the first clouds of the world. When he established the heavens, there was I,
when he marked out the vault over the face of the deep; When he made firm the skies above,
when he fixed fast the springs of the deep; When he set for the sea its limit,
so that the waters should not transgress his command;
When he fixed the foundations of earth, then was I beside him as artisan;
I was his delight day by day, playing before him all the while, Playing over the whole of his earth, having my delight with human beings. Proverbs 8:22-31
After I had written my last post on the Immaculate Conception, my friend James Ignatius McAuley commented. He said, “you made me think, we are all immaculately conceived in the mind of God, for nothing evil can come forth from God. The difference regarding the ever virgin Mary was that she was preconceived in God’s mind before the angels or we were. Venerable Maria de Agreda shows this in her first book of the Mystical City of God. Thus, Mary was before sin and its effects. This is shown in Proverb 8:22-31.”
I pondered what James had written and what Mary of Agreda had stated. I was always taught that Lucifer had the highest place in heaven and it was the Blessed Virgin Mary who took his place when he fell. I was also taught that Proverb was solely about wisdom. But wisdom dwells inside the Virgin and her womb. I pondered what James had told me. I wrote what I felt God speaking to me in my journal after Mass today. As always if the church says what I have written is wrong, then the church is correct and I am wrong. This is not meant to be embraced by people unless the Magisterium were to state it were true. I post it as food for thought and for discernment. And hopefully for someone who knows more than I to read.
May 3, 2020 – Feast of Saint Philip and Saint James
Beloved Lily of the Father,
The Immaculate Conception was the first conceived thought of us. Before anything was created purity was conceived in the thought of God. Union beyond comprehension. The gift of us, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Therefore, the Immaculate Conception was there from the beginning of time. She was there before the stars, the earth and the angels. Her place as Queen was too much for Lucifer to stand when he saw her. She didn’t take his place as highest in heaven, she was always first, for envy is borne of that which you never had. He thought he stole it when he deceived Eva but in his evening knowledge he did not know it always belonged to the Ave. For if he simply thought he would be replaced he never would have fallen, he would have kept what was his. Non-servium was his motto from his envy and pride. It was that which he never had that he wanted to steal, kill and destroy.
I AM unchanging. The uncreated Immaculate Conception. Always meant for union with the first thought of creation, the created Immaculate Conception through which we sent our sacrifice in the form of the Son, through whom our bride, the church, is lifted to union with us and made complete. The uncreated Immaculate conception waited to act until the point in time when the word was spoken to bring the created Immaculate Conception on earth.
She was Queen of the Universe from the beginning of time. This is the Divine Will, soaked in wisdom, that all the church will be brought to unity at the end of time through the Immaculate Conception and the Cross. Redeemer and Co-Redemptrix.
She is the Mother of Mercy whose depths neither angels, nor men can comprehend. Mercy is unfathomable. Her intercession reaches far beyond what you in your limited human capacity can possibly understand or know.
- The Most Holy Trinity
I love this encomium to the Immaculata because she is worthy of hyperdulia devotion but I would not embrace it unless the Magisterium did. There are so many details given that it needs study by Marian theologians.
I agree. I will take this down if told to.
Wow, this is deep! And it reminds me of Maria Valtorta’s vision of the conversation between the two year old child Mary with her parents. I can’t find it online in English, here’s a link in Spanish https://www.marialuzdivina.com/paginas/evangelio/1/pag07.php or in French http://www.maria-valtorta.org/Publication/TOME%2001/01-011.htm.
Thanks!
As to Maria Valtorta, the book can be found in English here: http://www.dmnx.eu/volumes.html
Here is what Jesus says about it to Maria Valtorta:
Come and read Her glories in the Book of the Ancestor. “God possessed me at
the beginning of His works, from the beginning, before the Creation. From
everlasting I was firmly set, in the beginning, before earth came into being, the
deep did not yet exist and I was already conceived. The springs did not yet gush
with water and the mountains had not yet risen in their huge masses, neither
were the hills jewels in the sun, when I came to birth. God had not yet made the
earth, the rivers and the foundation of the world, and I was there. When He
prepared the Heavens I was present, when with immutable laws He enclosed the
deep under the surface, when He fixed the Heavens firm and He suspended there
the springs of water, when He assigned the sea its boundaries and gave laws to
the waters, when He ordered the waters not to invade the shore, when He laid
down the foundations of the earth, I was with Him arranging everything. I
always played joyfully in His presence, I played in the universe…” You applied
these words to Wisdom, but they speak of Her: the beautiful Mother, the holy
Mother, the Virgin Mother of Wisdom that I am, Who am now speaking to you.
Here is your cite in English from Maria Valtorta, Book One, Section 7. It is no wonder that B. Gabriel Allegra, OFM approved these works as they affirm the Franciscan thesis. But anyway, here is part of it:
Joachim helps her. He has approached them walking noiselessly on the grass,
behind the low hedge of vine-shoots. « He has saved You beforehand, because
He knows that You love Him and You want to love Him only. So You are
already redeemed and You can be a virgin as You wish » says Joachim.
« Is that true, daddy? » Mary embraces his knees and looks at him with Her
clear blue eyes, so like Her father’s and so happy because of this hope She gets
from Her father.
« It is true, my little darling.
I read Valtorta with Agreda and Bridgit. They go very well together.
Sue, you posting is beautiful. Thank you.
Thank you and God Bless you!
I am not well versed in the Divine Will, but once again it seems that there are echoes of what you write in the writings of Luisa Picarreta (which have been approved by the Church). For example, in Volume 16 of the Book of Heaven: “…To be able to conceive the Son of God, She was conceived eternally in the works, in the sufferings and in the merits of the Incarnate Word….” Doesn’t eternally mean outside of time? And then, in Luisa’s writings of May 1, 1925 Jesus says: …[My mother Mary] received the unique mission as the Mother of a God Son, and the office of Co-Redemptrix of mankind…all other creatures combined, both celestial and terrestrial, would never be able to equal Her.” Daniel O’Connor comments, “This statement, of course, refers to all creatures past, present, and future….never equaling Our Lady.” (The Crown of History)
Thank you
Book of Heaven – Volume 34, December 8, 1936, Jesus is speaking to Luisa:
“My child, I want to honor my Celestial Mother. I want to narrate to you the story of her Immaculate Conception. Only I Who am the Author can worthily speak of this great, prodigious Act. Her acts, her words, her steps—before having life in her person—were first conceived in Me, Son of the Living God. Her love, incarnate in Mine, enclosed everything and everyone and loved as God loves, with the same madness toward Us—and toward all creatures. Even her prayer was conceived in Mine.”
…
“My child, really no one is qualified to speak of the Immaculate Conception of my Divine Mother. Even Holy Church, up till now, did not reveal but tiny bits of knowledge of her sanctity, of her greatness, and of the gifts with which She was enriched. Only I, having conceived Her in Me, can narrate the true story of her life, and reveal the marvels that were accomplished in Her by our Divine Fiat.”
The Lord has pulled out all the stops with Our Mother! Fiat!
Sue,
You do not need to take it down, unless the Immaculate Conception is no longer a dogma. This is traditional Franciscan Theology, as articulated by Bl. John Duns Scotus, Francis of Mayronnes, St. Bernadine of Siena, St. Lawrence of Brindisi, St. Maximiliian Kolbe, Bl. Gabriel Allegra, and many others, such as the late great Juniper Carol, OFM, Allan Wolter, OFM, Michael Meilach, and Maximillian Mary Dean (whose great little book on The Primacy of Christ is only $11.99 at Amazon). It is intimately tied to the Franciscan thesis of the Primacy of Christ, that Christ’s coming was not dependent on the fall, but would have come nonetheless. This is why the Franciscans are called the seraphic order, because their theology soars to the spiritual heights.
Another great scriptural line supporting this one from Proverbs is from Sirach 24:9, “In the eternal decree of God, I was present before His creating, and I shall be with him in the holiness of his heaven.” This is as it is found in the Bridgittine (Syon) Breviary. St. Bridgit of Sweden was very influenced by Franciscan theology and came down on their side in regards to the Immaculate Conception, as shown in her Book of Heaven.
The Douai Rheims:
9 From eternity, in the beginning, he created me, and for eternity I shall remain.
10 In the holy tent I ministered before him and thus became established in Zion.
The RSV:
9 From eternity, in the beginning, he created me,
and for eternity I shall not cease to exist.
10 In the holy tabernacle I ministered before him,
and so I was established in Zion.
Thank you James.
Yes, I read it too from St Maximilian Kolbe —I think he was referring to the Holy Spirit as the Uncreated Immaculate Conception, and Mary as the Created Immaculate Conception. Got this also from Fr Gaitley’s 33 Days of Morning Glory if I am not mistaken. Thank you for your post!
yes I have referenced that in earlier posts! You are correct. God Bless you.
Stunning… Thank you for posting!
Thanks and God Bless you!
Jesus to Veronica: “I AM unchanging. The uncreated Immaculate Conception. Always meant for union with the first thought of creation, the created Immaculate Conception through which we sent our sacrifice in the form of the Son, through whom our bride, the church, is lifted to union with us and made complete. The uncreated Immaculate conception waited to act until the point in time when the word was spoken to bring the created Immaculate Conception on earth.”
These words contain the divinity of the Immaculate Conception, that is, the Virgin Mary. God unveils, consistently over the millennia, the persons of his Godhead.
Mary is divinized – something scripture tells us is for all of us (2 Peter 1:4). She is a human person who has been divinized. Jesus is a Divine person with a human nature. Jesus is God, she is partaking in the divine nature but is not a divine person. The divinity of the Immaculate Conception lies in her mysterious “spousal” relationship with the Holy Spirit.
